My sight went hazy and I tried to stay on my foot. I take a step forward when I suddenly felt drawn back from behind.

My beating heart stops.

And for a moment time went by slowly as I turn to see who it was.

It was Lexa. For a second, disappointment washes through me. I stared at her as she speaks but I couldn hear anything… not till she snapped her finger at me.

I turned to her now putting on m normal expression.

She chuckles and winked at me as she clasped her arms around my shoulder.

We discontinued walking and stopped at the counter. Alexa brings out a card from her purse and handed it over to the blonde with an uptight smile.

She flashed the card over something and handed it over to Alexa.

Alexa beckoned to me to follow her and I did.

”What do you mean? ” she questioned me as she flips her shopping bag back and forth.

Alexa opens the car for me and I got in she did it after putting her shopping items in the backseat.

In a short time, she opens the door and got in. She made to put the key on the ignition to start the car, but she pause and turn to me.

Looking at the surroundings I was pretty sure this was not the building I had spent the night. This place was strangely familiar.

Alexa comes down from the car and turns to open the door for me.

”Why are we here? ” I questioned looking at the surroundings. I could tell evening was fast approaching from the pale look of the sky.

”Taking you back to where we came out from. ”

”What do you mean? ” I asked confused and startled. My gaze follows her as she moves back to enter the car.
